FCA accuses Unite of ‘misleading’ membership claims as union battle rages on

As the union puts in an official bid for recognition, the FCA calls many of its claims into question

The Financial Conduct Authority has accused workplace union Unite of making a number of misleading statements as its battle to represent staff at the regulator rages on.

In a message on the FCA's intranet seen by Financial News, the watchdog says Unite has now made a formal application for union recognition, as it continues to contest an upcoming overhaul to pay and perks at the watchdog.
