Financial Conduct Authority communications director Tom Willetts has left the regulator in the latest senior departure for the watchdog.

The former global head of media relations at Prudential joined the FCA last September, but will now be heading back to an undisclosed role in the private sector, according to an internal staff note sent on 5 July and seen by Financial News.
