The financial services watchdog has delayed a report on funds that buy illiquid assets as it deals with the fallout from the suspension of Neil Woodford’s flagship investment vehicle.

The Financial Conduct Authority had planned to publish its report on illiquid assets and open-ended funds before the end of June, having closed a consultation on the topic in January.
