FCA doubles headcount in international teams as Brexit workloads soar

The Financial Conduct Authority has doubled staff in international roles in the five years since the Brexit vote, exclusive information provided to Financial News shows.

In 2016, the regulator had the equivalent of 16.3 full time employees in its international engagement department. As of 20 September, this had risen to 31.4, according to figures disclosed under a Freedom of Information Act request.
