The Financial Conduct Authority racked up a £41,000 bill to produce a Christmas-themed jingle to raise fraud awareness, Financial News can reveal.

The regulator launched the 73-second song and video in December, in response to a 32% jump in calls about loan fee fraud over previous festive periods.
