Fidelity Investments and Henderson Global Investors have emerged as the "winners" in the latest individual fund manager rankings by performance analysts FE, with 10 managers at each company making the grade.

The annual FE ranking, known as the "Alpha Managers" list, cites the top 10% of performers among managers who primarily run UK retail money. FE's analysis uses performance data going back to 2000, with extra weighting given to longer track records to reward experience.
