Fidelity International, the fund manager, has promoted Simon Fraser, its chief investment officer, to president of UK and European business. Michael Gordon, chief investment officer for Southeast Asia, replaces him as chief investment officer.

Fidelity International, which comprises Fidelity's businesses outside the US, said Fraser will also oversee the firm's multi-manager business and new fund development in a newly expanded role.
