The Investment Association, the trade body for the UK’s fund management industry, has called out a fifth of the companies in the FTSE 350 for having only one woman or no women on their board.

The IA, which estimates its members control 34% of UK shares, is stepping up its campaign against what it called “one and done” companies whose boards have a single “tokenistic” woman.
