Apax Partners, Exponent Private Equity, Macquarie Group and Thomson/Technicolor were named today as the final four fighting to control BBC Broadcast, estimated to be worth at least £150m (€218m). The list was pared from 18.

Greg Dyke, the former director-general of the BBC, is an adviser to Apax Partners.
