Finnish HEX director leaves

Timo Laitinen, the managing director of the Helsinki Stock Exchange (HEX), has left after only eight months at the exchange.

Laitinen, who stresses his departure is a career move, dismissed rumours of senior management problems at HEX and said his resignation was not related to a number of other recent departures. Laitinen replaced Asko Schey who left the exchange in August last year.
