Five quit Singer & Friedlander

A team of five investment directors have left UK banking and asset management group Singer & Friedlander to join Ingenious Asset Management. It follows the departure of a 14-strong team to rival Close Brothers in April.

Tony Shearer, chief executive of Singer & Friedlander, stepped down last year following the group's acquisition by Icelandic bank Kaupthing.
