Billionaire investor George Soros gave his view of the state of the world in a speech Thursday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, in which he voiced concerns over nuclear conflict, tech companies’ impact on people’s lives and US politics, MarketWatch reports.
In his nearly hour-long address, Soros said “we are living in a revolutionary period”, adding that the world is in a state of flux and today’s decisions will shape our future. Events in Asia will have a far-reaching impact on the world, he said, as the continent’s importance on the world stage increases.
