Fixed income manager joins Avebury from Duffield's WorldInvest

Stephanie McClennon has left WorldInvest, the fund manager bought by John Duffield from Union plc for £10m (€10.6m) last November, to join Avebury Asset Management, chaired by Howard Flight, a UK member of parliament.

McClennon was a well-regarded fixed income manager at WorldInvest, where she worked for 13 years. She left the firm when the fixed income team was revamped. Her colleague Gwenda Jenkins has also decided to leave, to spend more time with her family.
