Susan Flynn, one of the most senior private equity figures at asset manager Hermes, has left two months after the merger of the operation with rival outfit Gartmore’s private equity division.

Flynn, who was the chief investment officer at Hermes GPE, and formerly the chief executive of Hermes Private Equity, left the firm on June 28. The reasons for her move are unclear and a Hermes spokeswoman declined to comment. Hermes GPE did not respond to requests for comment.
