My team's after-work drinks sometimes get pretty rowdy, but that's not a problem is it?

From an employment law perspective, the answer to this depends largely on whether the drinks are 'in the course of employment'. Broadly speaking, if the drinks are in the office, or if the company is picking up the tab, they are likely to be in the course of employment and the company could be liable for any misbehaviour that occurs.
