As one of the City of London's highest-profile female executives, Gay Huey Evans continues to play an active and increasingly crucial role in the financial markets through her position at dealer lobby group the International Swaps and Derivatives Association.

US-born Huey Evans rejoined the lobby group in January this year as a vice-chairman of the board of directors and executive chairman of Europe. She had previously served as Isda's chairman between 1994 and 1998 at a time when the over-the-counter derivatives industry was growing bigger and bolder, untroubled by the attention of regulators.
