Fondiaria sells out of Swiss Life

UBS yesterday won its first equity capital markets mandate from Fondiaria, the Italian insurer, which appointed the Swiss bank to sell its entire holding in Swiss Life for Sfr664m (€428.6m).

UBS and Italian investment bank Mediobanca yesterday placed 2.8 million shares in Swiss Life at Sfr236 through an accelerated offer on behalf of Fondiaria.
