Foreign managers preferred in the Netherlands

Dutch pension funds are more likely to chose foreign investment managers when they appoint external expertise.

According to preliminary research results from Sector Analysis, the market research firm which recently teamed up with consultants Bacon & Woodrow (see FN, February 14), Dutch funds tend to hire third parties to fill the gaps in internal expertise.
