Baring veteran stages comeback

The firm's former head of UK equities is back picking stocks at Trafalgar Capital Management

Veteran equity manager Chris Poil, former head of UK equities at Baring Asset Management, is staging a come back by taking charge of a new European equity long/short fund.

Poil's vehicle will be a Ucits fund, authorised by the European Union. It will be called Trafalgar Quadrant, operating under the umbrella of London-based hedge fund manager Trafalgar Capital Management, with Poil picking stocks alongside trader Josh Jacobson.
