Former CSFB banker joins KPMG Corporate Finance

Malcolm Strang, a former Credit Suisse First Boston mergers and acquisitions banker, has joined KPMG Corporate Finance as a partner in the technology, media and entertainment team.

After a brief foray into the dot-com world, where he was chief financial officer at Cognition Ventures, a venture development company, Strang decided to go back into banking. Other senior figures who joined Cognition Ventures included Rupert Pearce, from Linklaters, and Ron Sandler, from NatWest. Both have since left the firm.
