The former chief executive of DWS, Deutsche Bank’s asset management division, has set up an advisory business just three months after his surprise departure from the German investor.

Nicolas Moreau, who was dismissed in October after failing to stem heavy outflows from DWS, set up Ladbroke Advisory in January to work with asset managers and fintech firms on strategy, products, distribution and takeovers.
