A former managing director at City regulator the Financial Conduct Authority, who specialised in supervising fund managers, has joined a buyside consultant that counts star manager Neil Woodford among its clients.
Andrew Glessing, who spent seven years at the FCA, joined Alpha FMC on April 11, the firm confirmed in a statement. He will lead the group's new compliance team.
