William Vereker's decision to step down as co-head of investment banking at Nomura once again focuses attention on the careers of the former Lehman Brothers bankers who moved over to the Japanese bank in 2008.
Nomura has made a good number of hires from other institutions since it acquired Lehman Brothers' European and Asian operations in 2008, but there remains much interest in those who joined as part of the deal only to leave shortly after.
