Fortis Information Banking, the securities arm of Fortis Bank, has bolstered its alternative investment group with the appointment of Joost Löbler as global director of sales for alternative investments.

Löbler has worked for Fortis and its predecessor MeesPierson since 1989. He will join the Fortis Prime Fund Solutions division, which is the firm's sole provider of a range of services to hedge funds and funds of hedge funds.
