Fortress investments, the alternative asset management firm which went public in February, has recruited Morgan Stanley's US investment strategy chief, as private equity continues to lure top talent from banks.

Henry McVey, head of Morgan Stanley's US equity strategy team is resigning after 12 years to pursue another opportunity with one of the bank's private equity clients, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News.
