Nancy Curtin, an investment veteran with both private equity and hedge fund expertise, has joined Fortune Asset Management to run a new initiative to sponsor and seed new hedge funds.

The initiative, called the Fortune Emerging Manager Programme (EMP), is a hybrid hedge fund/venture capital vehicle that seeks to identify and provide seed capital to select start-up and early-stage hedge funds.
