Four Capital Partners, a new boutique staffed by former Schroders UK equity managers, has hired a chief operating officer from rival Dalton Strategic Partnership.

Richard Muckle used to be head of operations at Dalton Strategic Partners, a boutique led by Andrew Dalton. A Dalton spokesman said his departure was amicable, adding: "He left to apply his expertise at another start-up."
