Four devolved nations to hold talks over Christmas Covid-19 restrictions

Scottish first minister Nicola Sturgeon denied that governments had made a 'rash' decision over Christmas plans

Officials from each of the four devolved nations of the UK will hold discussions on whether the relaxed rules over the Christmas period should be revised in the wake of rising virus cases.

A call will be held between cabinet office minister Michael Gove and the leaders of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland later on 15 December to discuss the plans.
