Fox-Pitt Kelton, the specialist investment bank focusing on financial institutions, has hired Robin Lough from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) as a managing director with responsibility for UK and Irish banks.

Chris Wheeler, head of European corporate finance at Fox-Pitt Kelton, said that Lough's appointment, and several other hires made in the past few months, would go hand in hand with the bank's expansion of its banking research team.
