Tim Short, a global equities fund manager at Société Générale Asset Management, has quit to join Axa Framlington's European desk.

Short joins after nine years at SG as a senior fund manager. He has also worked at UBS Warburg and property management company Jones Lang Wootton, since acquired by LaSalle Fund Management.
