France Télécom goes it alone on €600m Danish deal

France Télécom, the French phone group, has handled the €600m ($742m) cash sale of its Danish mobile business without the help of investment banks, despite employing 10 banks for three big deals this year.

TeliaSonera, the Scandinavian mobile and fixed line operator, has bought the Orange unit to make it the third largest mobile phone operator in Denmark.
