France Telecom sales

France Telecom is due to announce within six weeks that it plans to float off part of Itineris, its mobile phone business, and Wanadoo, its internet business. Sources in Paris say that chief executive Michael Bon is waiting for markets to calm before making a formal announcement. Morgan Stanley, BNP Paribas and Credit Agricole are believed to be the three firms in the running to win the mandates, but neither the banks nor France Telecom would comment.
