Franklin Templeton Investments, the San Mateo-based fund manager, has made four new appointments to its institutional marketing and client services division in London.

Peter Escott, who was a manager of international marketing services within the firm, has been named manager of UK institutional sales. He will focus on building consultant and market awareness of Templeton's global equity exempt fund.
