Franklin Templeton has rehired a seasoned sales executive from Aviva to lead relations with institutional investors for its European property arm, a part of its business it is intending to grow.

Gaston Brandes, formerly head of business development for property funds at Aviva Investors, will take up his new position this month, the US asset manager said on 22 January.
