US asset management firm Franklin Templeton Investments has been in exclusive talks to take over the Turkish operations of Dubai-based private equity firm Abraaj Group, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The publicly traded investment manager has been negotiating for a portfolio of assets that include a stake in online retail group Hepsiburada and logistics company Netlog Lojistik Hizmetleri, the person added.
