Charles Brady, chief executive and chairman of Amvescap, the world's largest quoted fund manager, has appointed AD Frazier, to help establish the firm's future direction.
Last month Brady, who has close connections to former US president Jimmy Carter and is one of the highest paid executives in the UK, said he may step down in the next two or three years. His most recent coup was Amvescap's £1bn (€1.64bn) takeover of Perpetual in October.
