Freddie Mac pulls last euro deal of 2001

Freddie Mac, the US mortgage refinancing agency, has decided not to reopen any of its euro-denominated benchmark bond issues as previously indicated in its financing calendar.

Freddie Mac's EuroReference Notes programme, which was established last year, commits the company to raising around €20bn ($18bn) per year. It issued that amount of bonds in the first 12 months of the programme's existence.
