French state fund appoints new investment chief

The €33.4bn ($46bn) Fonds de Réserve pour les Retraites, the French state pension fund, has appointed a new chief investment officer recruited from Goldman Sachs.

Nicolas Sobczak, previously a senior economist and executive director of Goldman Sachs in Paris, was appointed yesterday.
