Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has appointed London-based Neal Livingston as the firm's global chief financial officer.

Livingston, who joins from Dentons where he was most recently chief financial officer and on the global management committee and board, will head Freshfields' finance unit globally, and will bring particular expertise in managing teams across multiple markets and jurisdictions, due to his experience of senior finance roles over 25 years.
