UK stocks dropped for a second session on Friday, weighed by declining miners on the back of a slump in metals prices, MarketWatch reports.
The FTSE 100 index was down 0.3% at 7,349.68, trimming its weekly gain to 0.2%. For the first quarter, that ends on Friday, the London benchmark was set for a 2.9% gain, its fourth quarterly advance in a row. That would mark its longest quarterly winning streak since 2011.
