A second review of prospective participants in FTSE4Good, the socially responsible indices run by FTSE, the UK share index provider, has led to the admission of 82 companies worldwide.

Of the new additions, 24 are based in the UK and 21 are in Continental Europe. European additions include Safeway, Ranks Group, Eurotunnel, Egg, Credit Lyonnais, Banca di Roma, Interbrew, Alcatel, and Equant.
