Paul Craig of Henderson Global Investors, this week's fund manager of the week, has achieved the distinction of beating every other mutual fund in the past four days while not actually being at work.

Craig, whose £24m ($34m) Henderson UK Strategic Income fund generated a return of 4.67% from the start of Monday and the end of Thursday, has been on holiday this week. A colleague said: "He is not here to ask for comment."
