GAM reopens hedge funds

GAM, one of the world's largest fund of hedge funds managers, has reopened eight of its funds nine months after closing them to new investors.

A spokeswoman for the firm, which is owned by Swiss bank UBS, said it had identified new hedge fund managers to take its clients' money.
