Matthew Beesley, the head of investment at GAM, will join Artemis Investment Management as chief investment officer in April, following a tumultuous two years at the Swiss investment firm.

The new chief investment officer will replace Peter Saacke, who will step down to concentrate on managing the Artemis Global Growth, Global Emerging Markets and Institutional Global Capital funds.
