Morley Fund Management, the UK fund arm of the life insurer Aviva, has completed the overhaul of its UK equity team with the appointment of two new fund managers.

Martin Cawthorne, a founding director of Threadneedle, is to manage Morley's UK institutional equity portfolios while Lloyd Whitworth, formerly a UK and pan-European manager at JP Morgan Investment Management, has been appointed to manage unit-linked funds.
