Gartmore aims to boost business with new hires

Gartmore has recruited Steen Steincke, Frances Davies and Paul Feeney as business development executives, in a move to boost the marketing of its products.

Gartmore's owner Nationwide Mutual is determined to push up Gartmore's profits dramatically, after paying a hefty £1bn (€1.6bn) for it in August 2000. Glyn Jones, chief executive of Gartmore, takes the view that the new appointments will help drive the business forward.
