Gartmore Investment Management has hired Robert Crossley as a senior portfolio constructor in the firm's fixed income team as part of UK investment firm's drive to build up its in-house credit capabilities.

Crossley joins from the brokerage firm Cargill Investor Services where he worked in the fixed income team for seven years. He specialises in the identification and exploitation of relative value, anomaly curves and basis opportunities.
