Gartmore Investment Management has appointed two emerging markets analysts to its Pacific and emerging markets equity team in London.

The appointments follow the UK fund manager's decision to launch AlphaGen Pictor, its fourth hedge fund to capitalise on the emerging market expertise of principle and senior investment manager Chris Palmer.
