The former chief executive of Fox-Pitt, Kelton, who also previously led trading globally at ABN Amro, has become the latest banker to join the Ian Hannam-owned independent advisory house Strand Partners.

Giles Fitzpatrick has joined the firm as a partner, according to one source familiar with the appointment, joining chief executive Neil Passmore, Ian Hannam and Tim Hoare at the firm.
