Going one quango too far

The esteemed Dame Helena Shovelton has fallen afoul of the UK courts again. Dame Helena resigned from the UK's National Lottery Commission after its decision to award incumbent Camelot the new operating licence for the lottery was lambasted under judicial review.

A well-known stalwart of that cadre known in the UK as the 'great and the good', Dame Helena then moved on to the UK's Competition Commission.
